Merry Christmas from Meridianville Middle! I made this tree from old "weeded" books!!! The key is to "back fill" with large books. I used A LOT of encyclopedias mixed with varying sizes of other books to fill the holes and support the tree. The kids LOVE having it in our Library!!!

Now I won't have to guess how many ornaments, lights, garlands, etc to put on my Christmas tree. Great information to have especially when you have to go purchase new items or are putting up a new size tree. Do you put up a real or an artificial tree?

I'M GOING TO DO THIS!!! Instead of the classic Christmas tree skirt this year, why not place your Christmas tree in a basket or a metal pail? Not only is this a nice casual and rustic look, but it also doubles as a cover for the water bucket that your tree is sitting in.
