This is the poster for the production of “The Very Merry Wives of Windsor, Iowa.” The Oregon Shakespeare Festival put on this production in 2012. Writer, Alison Carey, takes the characters and the plot from Shakespeare’s original “Merry Wives of Windsor” and puts a modern twist on it, ultimately turning it into a political satire. This play is another example of just how timeless Shakespeare is. The themes presented in all of his original works are still relevant today. -Jasmine Stevens
"Prepare to be thoroughly enchanted by Oregon Shakespeare Festival's transfer of INTO THE WOODS, newly arrived at the Wallis Center in Beverly Hills. It is, without a doubt, the most inventive and inspiring production of this Sondheim musical I have ever seen." -Ellen Dostal, Broadway World Pictured: The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts' "Into the Woods" Ensemble.
