Gemini Game, the Chinese cover. And no, I have no idea what is going on. I'm not sure the artist was ever shown the book. Maybe the instructions were to draw an Irish geek - red hair, big glasses, scarf, duffel coat...

Irish Fairy Tales (the revised cover with The Morrigan, the Crow Goddess on the cover - and is that a very early Sophie and Josh, of Flamel fame, making an appearance?)

Saint Patrick. This was a dual language book, in Irish and English on facing pages. Brid Ni Chuillinn did the Irish translation and Peter Haigh, who worked with me on many books, returned to do the eye-catching cover.

Gemini Game. This was the first time I'd written about twins. Written in 1992 and published a year later, it is set in a matrix world (many years before the Matrix movies!) The cover by Peter Haigh mixes art with a photographic background.

Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, and Anne of the Island have been read over and over and over again. I think the first one is my favorite because heedless, romantic, optimistic Anne is constantly getting herself in trouble and the results are hilarious. The next two books are still funny but Anne learns prudence as she gets older, so her mistakes aren't quite as childish. Overall just warm, good-hearted novels.

Firelord - the third Book of The De Danann Tales. Peter Haigh did the cover. Sadly the last two books in the series were never published. (At least, not yet!)
