Seems somewhat like a plum splitting open. Nice 'wave' of water as the tear has cut across the balloon. From my third shoot with my new digital sound trigger. Playing with lighting and composition a bit more. Strobist: SB600 on camera right, on 1/64th power. Retouching in Aperture and Photoshop, colour correction.
