Working on making this command center in my kitchen right now. Bought the mail holder today at Goodwill for $3.93 spray painted it black. Had an all white dry erase board I cover and spray painted the trim black. Already had a big wooden E I purchased at Goodwill a while back for $1.91. Have black frames already...just need the wire baskets and a big desk calender and we'll be set for business!
15 Command Centers to Keep Your Whole Family On Track
A pair of stainless-steel shelves adds a splash of modernity to this traditional-style kitchen. The narrow shelves not only offer open storage space for decorative dishware, but they’re also sturdy enough to support the microwave, which frees up counter space for food prep. Black wrought-iron brackets on the bottom of each shelf are a nod to the traditional vibe of the rest of the kitchen.
Baskets are helpful for organizing kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, and fresh produce. Place a pair of baskets above a sink using a metal rod or adhesive hooks for easy access. A wire design allows you to see contents at a glance and helps wet dishes and sponges dry quicker./
