I love neurobiology and this book is pretty accessible. The concept of the "social brain" disputes the fallacy of Western civilization. "Neural plasticity" affirms that we always can change for the better. Neurobiology is so positive, and provides scientific rationale to the inherent goodness of humanity... it is worth having to read the same sentence a few times before I understand it.
