The Quincy Mine is located in the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Mining operations have been closed for many years, but the site is preserved as a cooperating site of the Keweenaw National Historical Park. Home to the Norderg Steam Hoist building which houses the Nordberg Steam Hoist, the world's largest steam-powered hoist engine.
This interesting wooden bridge sits on Highway M-26 in Eagle River, part of the beautiful Keewenaw Peninsula in the Upper Peninisula of Michigan. On one side of the Eagle River Bridge is Lake Superior. The other side of the bridge offers views of splendid trees and a cascading waterfall.
