HARMAN CAFE 1960s Salt Lake City Utah THE WORLD'S FIRST KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) restaurant is still located here at 3900 South State Street in south Salt Lake City. KFC got it's start in 1952 when a local cafe owner named Pete Harman went into business with Harland Sanders(Colonel Sanders)Mr.Harman opened Harman's Cafe featuring Colonel Sander's recipe Kentucky Fried Chicken.(it was originally a  full service dine in cafe)which eventually grew into today's internationally franchised…
