Fuel Air Bombs are the most destructive non-nuclear bombs. Thermobaric Devices are now more powerful than some nuclear weapons. Variations used by the Russians in Chechnya included RPG versions. Fuel air bombs have 2 explosives, one explodes a cloud of aluminum or magnesium powder: the 2nd explodes the cloud. It is particularly destructive to human tissue and hardened structures. The US MLRS can destroy 30 square miles in a single salvo and have been used in Iraq and Afghanistan on caves.
