Press squares of fabric into a styrofoam ball. Easy, peasy. We made these in my first grade art class and with my 8 and 5 year old twins. Super easy! To mark the names, I used a Sharpie on a piece of fabric and inserted it near the hanger.

This is my favorite Christmas Cookie recipe!  I give the top of the cookie more of a frosted look than the picture, sprinkle with the crushed peppermint candies, and the drizzle melted chocolate chips out of a Ziploc bag with tiny corner cut, in a zigzag!  The best!!
