NEW HAMPSHIRE Considered one of the most spectacular waterfalls in New Hampshire, Arethusa Falls in Crawford Notch State Park is estimated at between 140 and 200 feet tall, depending on how it is measured. The hike to the falls and back is 2.8 miles. Those with more energy and time can visit another waterfall in the park, 100-foot Ripley Falls.
Arethusa Falls - GREAT hike with a beautiful waterfall at the end. So many hikes with falls in them are crowded (Diana's Bath anyone?) but this takes a 1.5-2 hour hike so it thins out those who don't want to work for it. And it's well worth it! A.
