We used a lot of black and white photos for decorations. Tanna took the pictures at DBU and then we ordered in black and white and framed them in ornamental frames, mostly from Hobby Lobby when we could get them for 50% off. We also used a lot feathers.

These are the pens that we gave away for party favors at the reception. I designed them and my wonderful sister in law Cindy Thornton made them. She is awesome. The cards says, "We love because He first loved us."

I found some small wooden box Lilly plants at Michaels that had unsortly greenery, but they were 80% off, so I bought all they had. I took them home and removed all the unwanted greenery and moss, and filled the plant in with silver mesh fabric pieces, feathers and tiny sprouting pearl stems. I was surprised how good these turned out. I did some in yellow lillies and some white like this example.

For the centerpieces, I got ten glass containers they were 19" high from Garden Ridge. I filled them with gems at the bottom that came from Hobby Lobby. I bought 4 sets of different sized white and silver ribbon from JoAnn Fabrics to create a round cover to go around the glass that you see here. Then I was off to buy the Battery operated stem lights and shimmer pieces that I would put inside each arrangement. I also had to buy a lot of feathers to cover the stems once I got them in.

Here is a picture just so you can see that our house was full of flowers and decorations several weeks. It was just a blast and such a blessing for me.

This is another example of the small lilly centerpieces that I made some of the reception tables, but this one is yellow. I also got these on clearance at Michaels and removed unwanted greenery and added silver mesh and feathers.

This was the sweetheart table arrangement at the reception. I found this beautiful silver candle holder at Hobby Lobby and hot glued the doves to the top candle holder as a symbol of God's Holy Spirit that has and will continue to bless and guide them. I created a name card for them using a beautiful wedding font I downloaded for free. Finally, I added some of the white deco mesh to the sides of the mirror to dress it up a little more. It was so fun preparing for the wedding.
