Asami Ohara is a textiles and embroidery designer, graduating the Glasgow School of Art in 2015. She creates unique abstract patterns and introduces new stitches with her knowledge of hand embroidery techniques. In her design process, photography and collage drawing are often applied to colour and composition analysis.

This is a really neat photomontage. They took landscapes and worked them into this sand clock. I like how the top portion appears to be pouring down on the city below. I also like the extreme detail that was put into the landscape portion of this piece.
My Ancient Rome Art Project with a Year 6/7 Class. Colour in a face portrait of a Roman Emperor. Use crepe paper in balls to create 3D-effect on face. Create a Roman mosaic in the background using 2-3 colours of craft paper. The display turns out beautifully with so many colours... lightens up the whole classroom!
Carven pre-fall 2013 The image displays the direct mix of photography and textiles and was an image to support the use of textiles and photography. I also like the way the images are almost de-constructed and the full image has been hidden - something I could consider within my project
