Switch from using bleached (white) coffee filters to unbleached (brownish). It is an instant upgrade to your morning cup of coffee just by grabbing a different box off the grocery store shelf! It can't get much simpler than that. Bleached filters require a bleaching step which is uses water and resources and pollutes the environment. Bleaching is also generally done with chlorine (in limited cases oxygen is used)... the only difference between bleached and unbleached creamers is the color!
