Saint Bernard's-They are such amazing dogs and you have not lived until you have owned one of these giants. They are so loving and loyal. They have such great personalities. They always make sure that you know they are there and show that they love you. Though the one in this picture looks almost identical to mine, mine was way more cute. He died of cancer in April. I loved my big guy and I miss him dearly! But he is in my heart and he gave me so many memories to remember him by.♥ r.i.p…
Best broccoli salad ever!!! (at least that I've tried :-) ) Ingredients -4 heads broccoli, cut in bite size pieces -1 red onion, chopped -1/2 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled -3/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries -3/4 cup nuts (I've only used sliced almonds, but I think cashews would be fantastic), -1 c mayo -1/2 c sugar -2 tablespoons white wine vinegar (I've also used basalmic vinegar and rice vinegar) Directions: mix everything, cool, and serve.

Put the broccoli on a cookie sheet. Toss with olive oil, salt and pepper. (She says 5 Tbs olive oil, 1 1/2 tsps kosher salt, 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper, but I just eyeballed it.) Now add 4 garlic cloves that are peeled and sliced and toss them in too.Roast in the oven 20 to 25 minutes @425, until “crisp-tender and the tips of some of the florets are browned.” add lemon zest & juice, parm cheese, and serve
