Alexis Deise. Cathedral window. This is my favorite of all quilts. One day...I will make one myself!

This quilt is all hand sewn using sashiko stitching--15,000 stitches in all. It is reversible and I love the way the blues are arranged from light to dark. Fabrics are hand-dyed Japanese indigos, the most sumptuous cottons Ive ever worked with, and some vintage haori fabric from my collection. Quilt is machine washable on delicate with gentle detergent and can go in a low-heat dryer. Dimensions: 53 x 53.
