Gravestone for Elizabeth Tilley, 13 year old passenger on the Mayflower who was orphaned during the first harsh winter in America. She married fellow passenger John Howland a couple of years later; they eventually had 10 children, and 88 grandchildren before their deaths...countless descendants today - including me!
Sweet Fanny Adams: PIC-Fanny’s sisters standing by her tomb. Fanny's body was found in the hop field, horribly butchered. Her head and legs had been severed and her eyes removed. Her eyes had been thrown into the nearby river. Her torso had been emptied and her organs scattered (it took several days for all her remains to be found).
