Be sure to join us tomorrow Saturday,  March 19th at 9:30am on Bishop Museum’s Great Lawn, there will be a public celebration for the return of Kalani‘ōpu‘u’s ‘ahuʻula and mahiole with the unveiling of He Nae Ākea: Bound Together-as well as its interactive companion exhibit Lele O Nā Manu: Hawaiian Forest Birds.  There will be an opening ceremony, a performance by Hālau Mele, and featherwork and nae making demonstrations.  Admission to the Museum on this day will be free for Hawai‘i…

Hear about the life legacy of Charles Reed Bishop as told by his close friend and traveling companion, William Little Lee. This programming is included with regular Bishop Museum admission.
