A movie (haven't read the book yet) about the treatment of the help in the southern states in the 1960s. An eye-opening story about how caring black women raised the children of their white employers and how they were treated in return. I wish this book had been written in the 1960s like the movie depicts!
I know I'm not perfect and I don't pretend to be. Very few know my story and those who do and have been there through it all to help me up when I fall, thank you for not judging me. Mostly Geoff for never ever turning his back on me when he clearly should have.
