There was a sold-out & an enthusiastic crowd on hand for the Rays' opener including Rob Manfred Baseball Commissioner. BJ Jackson, who played the anthem with his sax in the Rays' first World Series game in 2008, played both the US & Canadian anthems before the start of the game. (4-3-16)

'Power of Baseball': Crowd of 55,000 in Cuba for the historical game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Cuban National team which the Rays won 4-1 3/22/16. It was the first game in Cuba since 1999 & coincided with a visit of Pres. Obama of US to foster better relations between the 2 countries.
