Breakfast today was cheat’s bircher muesli: rolled oats, sesame tahini, milk, and honey mixed into a paste. I folded mashed strawberries through the muesli mix then topped with plain yogurt, blueberries, and almonds. Too simple and delicious!
I was inspired by a recipe from Heidi Swanson in her book, Super Natural Every Day, called Open Face Egg Sandwich. It supplements mayonnaise with plain yogurt. I love a good mayo, but this recipe makes it easy at work because I don’t need to go out and buy a whole tub of mayonaise. Plus the yogurt gives the dish a nice tang.
