The kitchen and dining room were given whole new lives with the removal of the wall that cut the space in half. By taking that wall down, the two rooms were connected -- a marriage of sorts that allowed for one, giant, inviting space. We moved the existing chandelier, table, and chairs closer to the window seat to continue the open feel.

To keep the bedroom feel of the home office still somewhat alive, a comfortable futon sofa is included, accented by great throw pillows in different patterns. The highlight of this room, though, is the cat/travel-themed gallery wall (a cool combination, right?). These clients adore their kitties and their visits to places around the world and decided those two interests are perfect features for this room -- we couldn't have agreed more.

I'm very partial to bar seating and this kitchen's new layout was absolutely perfect for it. We bumped up the quartz surfaces to a bi-level, with more than enough leg room underneath for three vintage, polished chrome barstools from Restoration Hardware. We also used Restoration Hardware for the glass filament pendant lights that give the space a modern, semi-industrial feel.

This small hall bath required a little facelift to make it both comfortable and updated. A new pedestal sink, with a to-scale, arced fixture, all anchored by a classic, black and white tiled floor, did just that.
