1. Cut an orange in half and remove the orange from the skin. A grapefruit spoon/knife works great. - 2. After eating the orange poke two holes in orange peel and string yarn through the holes. - 3. Fill orange with birdseed. Top off with peanut butter. - 4. Hang from tree for an easy feeder that birds will love.

The sculpture, known as the Bird Girl, was created in 1936, by sculptress Sylvia Shaw Judson (1897-1978) in Lake Forest, Illinois. It achieved fame when it was featured on the cover of the 1994 novel, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".
