This is the last 'pet' I found climing up my back door at work. Okay I am an animal lover, but after I learned that this was a rattle snake, he was stomped to death by my secretary in her high heeled shoes. Poor lil fella.. Guess he should have chosen a different location for a new home!

Like I mentioned earlier, Brutus is a bit strange - he sleeps (ON ME) most of the time, upside down, those long legs in the air... I guess that's a sign of true trust, love and commitment... And he has a food fetish. If he's not on top of me, he spends 99 percent of our time together laying across my feet (and I have cold feet so I don't mind at all)!

And this lil gal was climbing up my office window sill, knowing it was against policy (because clients sometimes have allergies), I smuggled him in and entertained him throughout the day. He LOVED my adding machine and typewriter and destroying my organized papers but oh well, he was having fun. Luckily, by day's end a coworker who had recently lost of beloved cat of 12 yrs offered to make him her new house baby! What a happy ending!

I'm thinking we should use Brutus as a hood ornament if we ever burn out a headlight!

This is Brutus, we've had him for 4 years now, since a tornado dropped him down the road in Feb 2008. He's a sweetie and the eyes are awesome flashlights when we lose power (j/k)!

This is "Pretty Girl"... we don't know her real name but her land ledges ours. She adores me (maybe because I always have a special treat for her). I was born and raised in Kentucky, and as the old stereotype goes, YES there are lots of horses. We always had horses and broke, rode, and showed them. I think that I have a 'special' way with horses, probably all animals. But "Pretty Girl" belongs to me in my heart!
