Hult Global Case Challenge finalists Sarah Cabell, Shaun Webb, David Stripling, and Mara Slade introduce their solution: Our initiative will provide affordable housing and economic opportunity to the fastest growing cities in developing countries. We will manufacture modular homes in facilities that train and employ people at the base of the pyramid through a mission-aligned partnership between experts in affordable housing, manufacturing, and social impact investment.
Vanessa Fry, MBA C4 2007, initially sought out Presidio with the desire to integrate sustainable business practices into the nonprofit world. It worked. “My Presidio experience enabled me to bring ideas from school back to my community and immediately integrate them into my work.” Vanessa works with Community Transportation, helping them launch the first statewide mobility management system. She has also served as the Executive Director for Citizens for Smart Growth in Blaine County, Idaho.
