Holly Hobbie. I remember painstakingly embroidering the back of a chambrey-like blouse whenever I was around 12 or 13 yrs. old. My mom drew the pattern of this image onto the blouse, and helped me through the whole project. Not all of the needlework was easy, but it was so worth the end result. Most of all, it is a very sentimental memory for me, because I did the whole thing with my mom.
I hated twisted cords! You'd hold the cord in the air and let the receiver spin and spin trying to unwind them. When they finally added clip in cords, it was much easier to unclip the cord from the phone and let the cord do the spinning.
