THE NEW AGA KHAN SCHOOL, (behind the Naaz Cinema Mombasa) WAS BUILT AND OPENED IN 1930. This was made possible by magnificent donations from Rajabali Kassam Suleman Verjee and his brothers. THE SCHOOL WAS OPENED ON 26TH SEPTEMBER 1930 BY THE GOVERNOR OF KENYA, HIS EXCELLENCY SIR EDWARD GRIGG. Sir Edward Grigg and entourage being welcomed by President Janmohamed Hasham and other leaders of the community.
