At Easy Street Steak & Seafood in Park City UT...a smoky grilled baby romaine Caesar salad topped with crispy croutons and shaved Parmesan ($10). Made a note to self: Remember to grill your romaine! I recommend this lightly dressed, refreshing salad highly.

@MaxwellPC  Maxwell's East Coast Eatery, Kimball Junction, Park City, UT - super Max salad, as it sounded like a healthy option, with kale, other greens, sun-dried cranberries, apple and beet slices, shredded carrots, edamame, roasted sunflower seeds and roasted chicken in a lightly blue cheese vinaigrette ($14.99). A hearty portion of fresh ingredients.

At Lido Restaurant at Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa, Pismo Beach, CA ...The duck was perfectly cooked – fork tender topped with a not too sweet plum sauce. It was served with fresh baby bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, edamame and just enough-spice wasabi mashed potatoes. This dish made up for the halibut.

At Burritt Room + Tavern, San Francisco my favorite salad consisted of  butter and little gem lettuces ($14) with crisp Applewood bacon slices, fresh avocado slices and wonderful little crispy shallots (think teeny onion rings) all in a light mayo-based sauce.
