Solar House 2.0 is an experimental, solar-powered building, created by the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia and the Endesa energy company. The pavilion is installed on the site of the Smart City World Expo in Barcelona (Nov. 13 – 15th 2012). The futuristic home is constructed of a series of independent, angular modules, festooned with a series of solar panels all controlled by intelligent systems for maximum energy efficiency.
The Wohnwagon (“living wagon”) is built from locally sourced Austrian woods and has sheep wool insulation, solar panels, a living roof and a water circulation system that uses marsh plants to clean and re-use greywater. | Tiny Homes
