Who says dogs don't like dressing up? Here's the real-life dog who inspired Charlotte in the Shorten Chronicles. This pic was taken in Cornwall, in the far south-west of England. She's wearing my hat while admiring the view (you can just see her muzzle sticking out below the front of the hat).
