Aziz Ansar breaks down feminism with humor. I like to think that when we describe and define words in different ways we are able to reach more people and get them to understand. My hope is that his comment has enlightened a few people who thought they were not feminist.
The lotus flower represents one symbol of fortune in Buddhism. It grows in muddy water, and it is this environment that gives forth the flower’s first and most literal meaning: rising and blooming above the murk to achieve enlightenment.
One of the comments at the original posting site said this is made with a specific yellow cake plus coconut cream. It looks like fondant for much of the "snow." But what do I know? :-) Oh, and the lights are rice lights. People say they are hard to find at Christmas.
