Did you know that Opportunity Partners performs job evaluations in 17 @Walgreens stores? They provide a great setting for those looking to work in the retail industry. This year, we began a new initiative with Walgreens - the Walgreens REDI program, providing individuals with retail training and work experience. We have had many people graduate from the program and Walgreens has hired three people we serve! Thank you for your partnership, Walgreens! #NDEAM

Thank you to Arby's for supporting employment for people with disabilities! Michelle Alvord has worked at Arby's for more than two years and has had great success in her job. She has built a great relationship with her manager, as well as with customers. Michelle takes pride in her work; she clears tables, greets customers and keeps the restaurant spotlessly clean. "I can meet people at Arby's. It's my favorite job that I've had. I don't want to work anywhere else," said Michelle. #NDEAM

2009: An exciting partnership between Opportunity Partners and Dunwoody College of Technology paved the way for new learning opportunities and expanded career options for people with disabilities. Dunwoody curriculum designers worked with Opportunity Partners staff to develop a Certified Learning Platform training program in the area of Professional Cleaning. Later, training programs were developed in the areas of Office Assistance, Retail and Network Support.
