Facebook | Right2Roam Blog Who Christmas is really about. Taken in St. Edmundsbury Cathedral. There as been a church at this site since at least 1065. The current cathedral, which is small in comparison to the historic monastic buildings now in ruins of Bury St. Edmunds, is the result of reconstruction of a church on the ancient site beginning in 1503. The most recent addition to the Cathedral is its gothic revival tower, completed in 2005.
