Hyde Park covers an area of 625 acres, split into two pieces – Hyde Park forms the eastern half (350 acres). Anything west of the Serpentine is known as Kensington Gardens (275 acres). The park was the site of the Great Exhibition in 1851, and is also known for Speakers Corner. During the time of the Suffragetes, protests were held in the park
New York City Central Park Map - we went to n.y.c and didn't visit Central Park thinking we would be back in ny before we left America circumstances changed and we ended up in Canada. Must go back for a proper look around.
