In this video I’m soldering a platinum cluster head made entirely from 0.6mm platinum wire. It’s one of my favourite ways to make a cluster ring as it really minimises metal wastage. A single solder piece placed correctly will actually join 4 different parts. I’m using Hard Platinum solder that has to reach at least 1422C to melt! It will eventually be set with diamonds.
