Nice Antique 'Prisoner of War' Carved Bone Dollhouse Fancy Miniature Side Chair | eBay Dates circa 1850 or earlier. This highly unusual fancy corner chair has a finely carved (pierced fretwork) open lacework pattern on the seat with fretwork continued along three sides of the skirt (not meant to have the back skirt carved). It measures about, 1 5/8" high with a 1" square seat and stands evenly.

Pair of ivory sewing clamps, probably Prisoner of War work, cir 1810.. Soldiers taken prisoner during the Napoleonic wars made items in straw, wood, bone or ivory to sell for their food and keep. Exquisite fine carving, one clamp has a pin cushion on top, the other room for a thimble. Approx 8ins
