This is my sketch of my hand with my eyes closed it went ok and was fun.
This is my hand sketch with my eyes open I didn't like this sketch as my drawing didn't turn out very good and I personally preferred my eyes closed hand drawing. I am going to practice my sketching skills.
This is my face drawing with my eyes closed. I really enjoyed this activity as it all went on feel and mind it didn't have to be precise.
In our afternoon session we went round three activities from charcoal shading to drawing our hand with our eyes closed then another when opened. We went onto draw three objects in different medias and sizes to drawing from memory. I liked the charcoal, hand, memory and face activity as the sketches don't have to be perfect!
This is the activity of drawing three different objects in different media sand sizes. These drawings did not work out well they turned out terrible! I am defiantly going to practice my drawing skills to improve.
I was really worried that drawings/ sketches had to be perfect and precise however, many of these activities showed me otherwise.
For our afternoon session we meet back in our meeting place for phase two which was to take turns in groups to go to the Jerwood Museum I did some sketches and had a conversations with Lisa on different works. We then went back to the Tate and had to chose 5 different works sketch them and write a critical response to them.
This is one of my negative space sketches I started of confused however, I believe these worked out well.
This is another example of my negative space drawings.
For our second lesson we went to the Tate Modern Museum. My day started off a bit hectic as we missed the turning for the Tate so had to drive round the one way system. I got dropped off at the Tate so I met in the meeting place we did our two morning activities which was to draw negative spaces in objects and to document a journey in some way.
