ReWall Company Reuses Milk Cartons as Building Materials
Using a European technology, Iowa-based manufacturer ReWall turns poly-coated products (used milk and juice cartons) into recycled wall boards, tile backers, sheathing, and decorative panels. Its line of 100% post-consumer recycled materials includes NakedBoard, which is suitable for supporting tile in wet areas, and EssentialBoard, which can be substituted for drywall.
Eroded Stools by I M Lab
"Eroded Stool": Created for a wine tasting room, these cork stools have a flowing characteristic evocative of a wine pour. Cork was the natural choice for the stools: it's eco-friendly, easy to form, and of course, has a long relationship with the wine bottling industry. | Design: IM Lab (2013)
