Carved Eagle & Gingerbread Mould. A finely carved pinewood eagle. Early 19thC. Probably made as a mirror top. In good condition with a few age cracks and a reglued wing tip. 25cm x 13cm. And a good Dutch gingerbread mould. Mid 19thC in thick carved elm board. Showing a typical man on horseback and a rarer ship in sail. 36cm x 24cm

Two remarkable Scottish bickers intricately constructed from staves of beech and alder wood, bound to the outside with finely woven willow. Both pieces are of exhibition quality and are feather jointed. The larger is inlaid with heart motifs to the base which is hollow and retains its original rattling peas. Circa 1900.
