Bryan Faussett: Antiquary Extraordinary

Dr David Wright's full-length biography of the Kentish vicar, antiquary, archaeologist and genealogist, is just published. At his death in 1776, Faussett, had the world's greatest collection of Anglo-Saxon jewellery and artefacts, including the incomparable seventh-century Kingston brooch, perhaps the most magnificent product of the Kentish workshops.
