Loose Leaf Tea Blends on Instagram: "Eco-friendly packaging....♻️💚🍃💚♻️ We both care about the environment and we're constantly looking at what eco swaps we can make in our daily lives. Whether that's moving from plastic packaged shower gels to bar soaps or washing up sponges to bamboo dish brushes. Eco swaps can be fun and a bit of a revelation. We've also applied this ethos to the eco friendliness of our tea packaging 💚 One of the changes we made recently is moving from using biodegradable and resusable tea pouches to compostable pouches with the European Standard EN13432 accreditation 🌱 We are now using recycled labels which are made from a 100% post-consumer waste and our small parcels and large letters size orders are now delivered in eco mailer boxes ♻️ We really ENJOY 🤓 making these changes. I paired these teacakes with our Creamy Caramel Rooibos Tea ☕ The great things about most shop brought teacakes in the U.K is that the majority of them have always been coincidentally vegan. It means that this treat remains a consistent favourite for everyone vegan or non vegan. I got these vegan teacakes and @naturli vegan butter from Tesco's. I normally pop my teacakes in toaster and when they're toasted spread butter on top. For extra sweetness you can also add jam or maple syrup. This photo was taken two years ago, I went to the park not too far from where I was living at the time to gather the fallen leaves. I decided to combine the colours of our Madagascan Vanilla Chai loose leaf blend with the autumn leaves as they seemed to work well together. Maybe it the warmth from the hot cup, the subtle heat from the spices, the sweetness of vanilla or just the beautiful collage of colours you get from leaves as the seasons change.
