All DIY. We knocked out the 80s fireplace to reveal the original arch and smoke-blackened brick. I hung the wallpaper, made the mantel shelf from a piece of antique French wardrobe, and sanded and oiled the floor. My husband tiled the hearth; I do have a day off sometimes.
