De Luca is a Conservator, Restorer and Art Historian, member of several scientific panels and head of research projects on artistic executive techniques and on materials employed in conservation. Her research focusses on the study of the artistic techniques and workshops in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Among her works: several masterpieces by Giotto, Barocci, Maratta, Rubens, and F. Bellini.

Carlo Crivelli 1430-1495. The Montefiore Triptych was reconstructed from a bigger polyptych and consists of six panels: higher order (half-length figures): Franciscan saint, Saint Clare, Saint Louis of Toulouse; Lower order (complete figures): St. Catherine of Alexandria, St. Peter the Apostle, St. Mary Magdalene. These paintings are believed to depict the most beautiful figures that Carlo Crivelli ever produced.Housed in the Polo Museale of San Francesco , Montefiore dell'Aso, Marche, Italy.
