Bishop's Sleeve A long sleeve, fuller at the bottom than at the top, and gathered into a cuff. The sleeve is longer than the length of the arm so it gets volume at the bottom and can even hide the cuff. Most often, the sleeve and the cuff get made of different materials. The sleeve is usually made of light fabric, and the cuff is made of a denser one. However, this requirement is not mandatory. The cuff can be as very narrow as rather wide.

2018 Spring/Summer fashion trend ❤️ Big Patch Pockets
MC2patterns - 2018 Spring/Summer fashion trend 🖤Big Patch Pockets👍🏻 🖤Christian Dior once said: "Men have pockets to keep things in, women for decoration." 📌5 Facts about Patch Pockets📌 1️⃣Until the late 19th century women had at least one pair of pockets which served a similar purpose as a handbag does today. The pockets were usually worn underneath women's petticoats, invisible. In order for the pocket to be accessible, holes were left in the side seams. 2️⃣Pockets could also be bought "ready made". Many pockets were handmade and they were often given as gifts. 3️⃣Women's pockets could contain a whole mini-workshop. A pocket was a handy place to keep everyday implements, such as a pincushion, a thimble, a pencil case, a knife, and scissors. 4️⃣Since the pockets were separate objects, they had been often stolen wholly! Thieves known as 'pickpockets' removed men's wallets and cut the strings of women's pockets. 5️⃣In the 1920s fashion designer Coco Chanel began putting functional pockets in her jackets borrowing this item from the men's wardrobe. 📜Read more about history of pockets http://www.vam.ac.uk/content/articles/a/history-of-pockets/ https://mic.com/…/the-weird-complicated-sexist-history-of-p… ✂️Our patterns with patch pockets https://mc2-patterns.com/…/96-maxi-coat-with-hood-lining.ht… https://mc2-patterns.com/…/95-short-poncho-wrap-with-hood.h… 🔍🔍 ‪#mc2patterns #digitalsewingpatterns #digital_sewing_patterns‬ ‪#sewing_patterns #sewingpatterns #pdf_sewing_patterns‬ ‪#pdf #sewing #visualfit #PerfectFit #body #measurement #figure #fashionvocabulary #typespockets #patchpockets ‪ #quicksketch‬ | Facebook

Kimono Sleeve A sleeve cut in one with the bodice in a wide sloping shape, similar to that on traditional Chinese robes (not Japanese kimono whose sleeves are sewn separately). A wide sleeve of an authentic kimono is always long. However, this is absolutely not compulsory in modern fashion. Depending on the model and type of clothing, a sleeve can be either long or short. It has to be noted that a kimono sleeve never has a cuff. ‪#mc2patterns #digitalsewingpatterns #digital_sewing_patterns‬ ‪#
Bell sleeve A bell sleeve can be either long or short and is usually set smoothly into the armscye (no pleating or shirring) and flares toward the bottom. Bell sleeves end anywhere from the elbow to the wrist. Flared sleeves ending at the upper bicep are similarly shaped, but are instead called butterfly sleeves. The effect is reminiscent of a bell in its shape. If the sleeve is relatively full in circumference and is gathered or pleated into both the armhole and at the bottom, it is called a Bi
