Black muslin dress, 1850-55 (Translated) Black wool muslin gown, with flared sleeves, tight fitting bodice and five strips (tiers) on the skirt. The bodice with V-neck runs from the front into a point and is lined. On the inside of the body (bodice) are the original waistbands. Along the bottom of the skirt a lace tape along the seam.
