Spindly, stretched ghosts emerge under doors, float through windows and emerge out of objects’ shadows.

When Nyasha has her breakdown, it reminds me of schizophrenia. She seems to have voices in her head and all she keeps repeating is "I'm not like you and I'm not like them". She has truly reached her breaking point and can't handle any more.
