Paradise Flycatcher (female),Terpsiphone, are a genus of monarch flycatchers. The genus ranges across Africa and Asia, as well as a number of islands. The paradise flycatchers have the widest distribution of any of the monarch flycatchers, ranging across sub-Saharan Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia and East Asia.[1]

Male Greater Bird-of-Paradise, is the largest member of the genus 'Paradisaea.' It measures up to 17 in. long (excluding the long thin tail wires). This species is distributed in New Guinea and Aru Islands, Indonesia. Birds of paradise are generally crow-like in general body-form, and, are the brother group to the corvids (crows and jays).
