A GEORGE II WALNUT STOOL
England , circa 1730 A fine large George II solid walnut stool of rectangular shape, with drop-in upholstered seat and standing on bold cabriole legs carved to the reverse of knees with scrolls and terminating in pad feet. The seat upholstered in fine 18th century French floral needlepoint.
A CHIPPENDALE PERIOD URN STAND
England , circa 1770 A fine and rare George III Chippendale period mahogany urn stand. The square serpentine edged top with moulded detailing, above a shaped frieze incorporating a pull-out shelf with a fire-gilt brass axe-head handle. Standing on elegant scrolled cabriole legs which terminate in 'French' scroll toes.

The shaped frieze with central urn at the front flanked by paterae and with sunflowers at the sides, all draped with swags of husks, raised on particularly elegant tapering cabriole legs crossbanded with rosewood and ending in ormolu sabots.
