Gazania. This annual loves sun & dry conditions. It's short but notice that the brown on this flower look like a row of bird feathers. I plant these on open spots in a sedum bed. - This would be perfect in a CO garden since we have an arid climate.

Plumeria - love these dark pink ones. But they don't bloom as much as the other varieties which is why I've given up on this color.
