QUEEN MOTHER'S GOWNS & JEWELS

Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother (nee Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon) was born on 4 August 1900 and died on 30 March 2002. Despite being only 5'2" and even into old age, she carried her gowns and jewels like a magnificent galleon on the high seas.
